Serving Since 1997

Combined Agents of America was established in 1997 through a collaborative effort among independent insurance agents in Central Texas. After a brainstorming period, these seven agents developed a business plan and operational method that allowed agencies to retain their independence while pooling premiums to secure larger commitments from insurance carriers. Upon presenting this plan to major insurance companies, they readily agreed.

On October 1, 1997, Combined Agents of America (CAA), LLC was founded. CAA’s leaders, with legal counsel’s support, formulated an operating agreement, regulatory guidelines, and elected officers. They fulfilled the necessary licensing requirements and embarked on recruiting new members and promoting the newly formed entity.

Since its inception, CAA has sustained remarkable growth, expanding from its initial seven founding members to 72 members and over $1 billion in combined property and casualty premiums.

Not only does CAA boast a leading position among insurance networks, partnering with top-rated insurance companies in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado, Iowa, and South Dakota, it also stands as one of the fastest-growing networks in the industry. CAA has dedicated significant efforts to strengthen and enhance its relationships with insurance companies and its members, all while preserving their independence and increasing each agency’s profitability.

Prospective CAA members are subject to stringent underwriting requirements, including financial and profitable loss ratio analysis. Additionally, leadership in their respective markets is a prerequisite for membership.
